Woolwich Arsenal - Tall Ships 2017
THURSDAY
I headed off to Tate Britain this morning, but the queues for the Queer British Art exhibition were far too long. I had a quick look round before heading back to check out at the Park Plaza.
Prue had headed off in the opposite direction - her cultural enlightenment included a visit to the Moominland exhibition on the South Bank. We met up at lunchtime before getting the tube to the docklands to catch the start of the Tall Ships 2017 event which is taking place over the Easter weekend.
We spent the afternoon at Woolwich Arsenal where a dozen or so of the ships are moored (see main blip). It's almost the same spot as the blip taken last September.
The extra is the view from the restaurant on the 38th floor of our hotel at Canary Wharf.
23,517 steps today.
