Double Blip

Now, I was telling you about the wrong color worktop. Well, the new ones turned up and we set to to fit them.

Dave gave me free rein with the router. He was on circular saw. Serious fun. Then...

"Hey Dave, turn off the saw!"  I'd noticed just in time, a flaw in the long side of one edge. It had been hidden by the packing. Phew, nearly ended up paying for it.

Dave had to scoot after our morning's graft, but the merchant's again pulled the stops out and sent for a new one from Tyneside to arrive in the afternoon. I was receiver so we could get a flyer the following Monday.

At the same time, we thought it sensible to blip the damage...
