An oldie but a goodie...
Continuing the equine theme from yesterday - from the days when I exercised the Household Cavalry horses in Hyde Park. We would ride out at about 7am having groomed and tacked up our horses, I would cycle to Hyde Park to get there as well. The trusty boots in this picture fell to pieces eventually - as I was cantering around the park, which made for an interesting ride. There were some pretty memorable falls as well, but luckily nothing major. The horse here is Acrobat - she was one of the best horses in the troop and if you had her, you just knew you were in for a lovely ride, I think this was taken on a Saturday morning, hence our hanging around taking pictures of each other. I loved my morning rides and made one of my best friends there - she is still riding out in the morning and my word I miss our lovely morning chats whilst trying to keep control of our steads.
A pretty run of the mill day today, I've finished some work I've been doing, I could spend days more working on it, but as my husband tells me, they're not paying me to do several more days work on it. Full of nerves sending off my first proper piece of work for two years, fingers crossed it goes down well and I get some more work out of it!
