Carving.

A busy day. after an early lunch we headed into town to pick up B as he and I were due to catch a train to Manchester.  A slight hitch we got on to a train earlier than the one we planned which necessitated a change in Preston.

We arrived in good time and easily found the hotel.  Slowly into the evening the rest of the representatives arrived and we headed out for a meal at Buffet City.   Remarkable value, as much Chinese food as you could eat for £12.00

Photo opportunities were few and far between so I settled for this magnificent carving in the hotel reception.   I am not sure why it is there or what it depicts but it is certainly impressive.
