Bar front
This is the front of the bar put in at Mason's Avenue. The textured timber is actually flooring cut down in width and planed down to allow the joiners to curve it round the end of the bar. For such a workaday product it looks phenomenally luxurious in this new context. The whole bar is a real change from the previous crisp and businesslike look of the others, with lots of small areas and a much more comfortable - almost domestic - feel. There are even rocking chairs! And the lovely Mel is the manager
