All over again!

It's pretty cold again today, so whether spring is really here is debatable, but in many gardens around here a popular shrub is doing its regular thing.

Pieris 'Forest Flame' must be one of the most common spring shrubs in cultivation - none the worse for that of course. Plants are usually popular if they're good! We have one at the top of the slope beside our deck - gorse is blooming on the cliff on the other side of the road.
