Krislin

8.8C and mostly overcast. Plenty of cloud and light showers. Light to moderate W/WNW/NW breeze.

Apothecary7's 7am start. The upside is that it heralds a 3.3pm finish and a long weekend. Maeve the Deerhound didn't stir until I got up about 6.40am. We went for out short slow walk (in the rain today) just after Apothecary7 had left for the shop(s).

Salmon fillets from the fish shop today by request of Apothecary7. Accompaniments from the Coop.

About 2pm Maeve and I repeated the short walk.

Once Maeve was back home I had a wander round to the harbour for a breath of fresh air. I got there and back between showers. Ayress has sailed, but Krislin is stil being loaded with wood at the new quay. More lorry loads of wood are required.

Podcast of BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs on the Clip (as I walked):

There might be afternoon cake rather than afternoon music.
