Family bonds

The fields are awash with ewes and lambs. Shortly after this photo was taken, the peaceful scene of little family units dotted here and there, erupted into a cacophony of bleating as the farmer on his quad bike was seen at the gate. Ewes and lambs raced at full pelt in his direction towards the feeding trough and the tasty pellets he was pouring from a sack. I expect the ewes get pretty hungry - some have three lambs to feed.
