Standing to attention

A quick jaunt to the university across the road from work after finishing this morning. I spotted these beautiful tulips standing very proud in the flower beds.  I'm afraid my blip doesn't do them justice.  My excuse is that a heavy shower started and I ended up rushing and taking just two shots!  Still, they look very pretty.
An early departure for work tonight as there is a home match tonight at St James Park and I can imagine the traffic will be dreadful with it being a bank holiday.
