An old retired lifeboat...

This old rertired lifeboat is much photographed in Guernsey as it has been on it's mooring for some 40 years - see info on this lovely old vessel below. VIEW LARGE!

Location: Grande Havre, Vale, Guernsey

This vessel has been lying on this mooring for the last 40 years and until 2011 was registered as a commercial fishing vessel (though I cannot remember her ever having left her mooring).

Built in 1949 the JB Couper of Glasgow is a Liverpool class #872, Lifeboat.
