Youthful Optimists

This week end, Altea Club Nautico is hosting the Copa de España Championship, for the small sailing boats, Optimists......this means that hundreds of identical small sailing boats are racing each other over the long holiday weekend.
It was terrific this morning, to see so many small boats lined up and ready for launching......
and the young sailors, from all over Spain, including the Balearic and Canary Islands, coming together in enthusiastic competition.....
