Good Friday

One reason I come down and stay with Jacquie is so I can be involved in the Holy Week services especially Good Friday. She always runs the children's liturgy in the morning of the stations of the cross and I help her. Today I chatted to a young mum who had brought her baby along and it was lovely. I'm not a fan of the 3pm service but I go. The photo is the reading from my favourite service, meditation around the cross. We sit in a darkened church and it is lovely and peaceful a real time for reflection and prayer. Tomorrow they are off to Lourdes and I will wave them off. Only sorry I can't go the bubble is still bobbing along, I'm going home after a visit to the Tate Modern.
