Choice

Lots of photos to chose from today- a duck showing her ducklings the best places to get food on the canal, what looked like morel mushroom growing wild, a small overgrown outhouse in a Lush field.

At 3pm after a grey and dull start to the day I decided to reclaim the day by walking 5 miles to The Daneway Inn which is now under new ownership. Arrived there at just before 5pm as my walking speed is woefully slow right now and had a delicious sandwich. I ate some more warm food later and then walked home. At points I wanted to give up I was so tired but I'm really glad I manage the walk. Blip is walking back in the tunnel, by this stage it was late and dark outside so the lighting is provided by a phone.

The bluebells and wild garlic are out in abundance. I saw a swan on her nest looking rather protective (big distance away thankfully) and a gorgeous white and grey pony roaming around a paddock with a very flyaway 1970s Boho style sweeping mane :-)
