A different kind of day.

Farm shop in the morning - not my usual haunt on a Friday but the fridge was empty.

Half a day of productive work.

Then N took me on a mini pub crawl at 4.30. Two pubs and 2 pints is about all this old carcass can manage these days. It was fun mind you, especially the locals' reaction to this unlikely couple. We're not a couple of course, which makes it even better fun.

One of the strange things about my first trip to the library this week was Hyeonseo Lee's book jumping out at me from the shelf. I heard her speak at the Edinburgh Book Festival last year.

Life in N. Korea is seriously evil. Primary school kids must attend public executions (by hanging), for example.
