Restaurant In The Hills

Zihuatanejo is blessed with lots of good restaurants, most of them located in the central zone. This one, Marisqueria Leo, is about as far from downtown as one can get and still be in Zihuatanejo. The two dozen tables are located high in the hills to the west of town and hold the freshest seafood imaginable. Our friend Carlos, who accompanied today, told us that the owner is diver, which explains how they have such fresh fish, octopus, and seaweed. An appetizer of seaweed was delivered to our table free of charge before we got going on our meals. A delicious way to spend an afternoon.
