Crepe Myrtle #2 on top, #1 underneath....

These trees have flushed out with new leaves while I was away in Arizona.  I have trimmed the growth buds leading each branch to encourage a bifurcation and filling in with smaller branches and leaves.
They are doing very well.  It is almost time to begin fertilizing as I see the stems are hardening and getting a bit woody.
