Finally

It's been a few years since I've seen fox kits at my parents' house and tonight I saw mom plus 4 and maybe 5. The other good news is that they were eating a giant black snake - I have nothing against snakes, but last year I saw one climb a tree to rob a flicker nest and my dad has seen one climb up the front of the cabin to get the Phoebe nest. Also, I was crouched down in the woods, which is not when I'm feeling the friendliest towards snakes. Plus, in fox vs. snake, I'm always going to go fox.
