Tall Ships at Woolwich and Greenwich

Since I was in Amsterdam in the 80's and saw all the Tall Ships gathering there I have wanted to have a sail on one, today we did just that!  

Over the Easter weekend there are about 30 Tall Ships gathered in Woolwich and Greenwich with lots of entertainment on the quaysides at both venues.  Great atmosphere and a lovely, if a bit chilly, cruise up the Thames from Woolwich to Greenwich and back!  We passed lots of landmarks and it was great to see them from the river, I especially wanted to see the Thames Barrier!
