Macclesfield Forest
I went hiking this morning - Tegg's Nose (which is a hill, see extra) and then on into Macclesfield Forest. The blip is Macclesfield Forest - you climb up through densely packed conifers, which is always rather dark, and suddenly emerge into these deciduous trees. I once saw 13 deer running up the hill at this place in the Forest, which was truly an amazing sight.
