Hovering

This morning I went to put some flowers on Dads grave as it would have been his birthday today see extra shot. While down that way I decided to take a walk on the South common in search of a blip. A lovely sunny day but a bit on the cold side. 
While talking to another photographer we spotted this kestrel hovering in search of prey. So I grabbed a couple of shots , happy with the results as I only had my 300mm lens with me. I took a few scenery shots which I will go and take again in better sunnier conditions.
