to Wait Patiently

I am a great enthusist about rhubarb.  It is a most cost effective vegetable!
This patch has been installed for about six or eight years.  It is in a nice sunny position and is now repaying the considerable ground preparation that originally took place. It is watered well in dry weather.

It is maincrop (I cannot remember the variety) and it is now just a matter of time before the first picking for the rhubarb champagne....
