September morning

I awoke early this morning when the mist was still nestling in the valley.

More fields have been harvested and now large round bales are also appearing which is a relief as we shall need them for bedding in the winter. We have nearly fulfilled two of the forward contracts we have with the grain dealer. This could have been tricky had we not been able to as we would have had to buy wheat to do it at our expense!
