Should Have Driven The Truck

We saw this while walking along Sandy Boulevard to pick up a rental car for a couple of days. The first trip was to visit blipper RavensRoost and her husband, J, at the beautiful house he built on top of a hill. The views are incredibly beautiful, as you will know if you follow her blip.

We were treated to a delicious lunch and enjoyed a wide-ranging conversation. J is a retired engineer, like me, but his job experiences were quite different from mine, and more varied. It was interesting to hear each other's stories.

On our return journey we stopped at the Pfriem brewpub in Hood River for more beer tasting and snacks. The rest of the drive was a bit stressful -- heavy rain and fog at times, barely visible lane markers, and a lot of trucks throwing roostertails of water. I forgot to mention that it was also dark!
