Aubrieta

A busy Saturday for me with The Man away. He was always used to cleaning the lodge on his own while I had the shop, but it's very unusual for me to be there doing both people's jobs! I needed frequent cups of tea!

When I see the aubrieta in full-flower beside the steps I can't resist getting this same shot, year after year!

Anyhow, I got the lodge cleaned to my satisfaction, including all the cobwebs last weeks visitors had counted. They blended well with the pine paneling so I, not having a phobia, hadn't noticed them. They lady was extremely kind and left me the noted about it on paper then wrote something really nice and spiderless in the visitors book.
