Medicinal Morning Cake

Woke with another migraine this morning but took some painkillers and tried to carry on.  M and I took a gentle walk into town and then finished up at Follys Tea Gardens.  It was a beautiful warm sunny morning, (although they had helpfully left blankets on the backs of the chairs, in case we got chilly).  So I indulged in a piece of Rose Victoria Sponge (which M and I shared), we both had coffee but M was enjoying sitting there in the sun so much he decided to further indulge in a glass of champagne, even though the sun wasn't quite over the yard arm. Sadly it didn't help my headache and I had to give up and go to bed in the afternoon, but of course I had to give the cake a try...it might have worked!
