Dotty egg

Happy Easter Sunday !  You're looking at one of my egg creations, the line and the bigger dots on top were my work (with the help of an elastic band and tiny plastic stick-on dots) but the rest of the dots on the egg were pure chance, nature's own reaction to the egg paint. They 're to introduce this coming Thursday's Abstract Thursday optional theme of 'monochrome'. A monochrome abstract doesn't need to be only shades of black and white , it can be shades of any sole colour with white for contrast.

I'm so glad you all seemed to like the ICM theme of last Thursday, it's a great way to make your images look impressionist/painterly, works particularly well for landscapes, I find. There were 74 entries and I did have another difficult task picking 5 special ones, as they were all wonderful ! Here's the list of this week's 5:
