Blessed

Left gloomy, wet and cold Benbecula [Extra] to make the return trip to Barra. South Uist was as grim and boring as two days ago, until we saw the better weather coming from the north so decided to take a detour east to Lochboisdale to let it catch up with us. Before we'd finished our excellent coffee and cakes it was gloriously sunny outside! [Extra] From then on, even South Uist was beautiful [Above], and things got better as we approached Eriskay, with splendid views of both the nearby beaches [Extra] and the hills of Barra across the sound.

Many photos could have been blipped, but I claim this one qualifies for derelict Sunday.
