Tradition

It is traditional in our house to roll eggs on Easter Sunday. We have a sloping garden but not steep enough for egg rolling so since the children were little we helped the roll using a series of drainage pipes and gutters. Now this seems to have become a must do thing on Easter Sunday

So it rained all day today but we were out setting up the gutters and rolling the eggs. The sticks mark the distance so that we can see who is the winner.

The second part of the event is well known by the chickens who free range in the garden and have seen this before and known what we are doing. See extra for their reward.

Apart from this excitement it was a very typical wet Sunday which I do not like.
