Mad dogs and English girls....

....go into the North Sea on a bloody cold day in Whitby.

Even my girls aren't that daft, and that's saying something.  There were three black labs who were unfazed by the cold sea, and this little lass who at least came prepared with her wellies and big coat.  I watched her from the harbour, saw her jump two waves and then turn back, giving it up as a bad job.

Spent most of the day indoors, although I did go for a morning run at about 08:00 that I had to quit after a couple of km as it's clear my calves haven't recovered from the half-marathon yet.   They will.  They better :)
