You scratch my head .................
We didn't have to travel to Scotland for this walk, despite the appearance of a "Heilan Coo". We actually were walking around Surlingham and Bramerton - combining a couple of the circular walks from the Wherryman's Way. Just over 8km in about 3hrs. That doesn't seem very fast, but the going underfoot was quite difficult in places - for instance, a need to develop one leg longer than the other when walking along the side of a bank.
Having parked in their car park, we were going to stop for at the least a drink in the Surlingham Ferry, but it was stupidly busy. I know - not all that surprising, given it is Easter Sunday.
Instead, we returned home, and this evening have enjoyed a lovely roast veg dinner. Looking forward to an early night, after a couple of later ones, and tomorrow hoping to spend time in the garden, weather permitting.
