Todays plans were made around last nights weather forecast. Rain at start of day then cloudy and finally breaking sunshine in the evening. Well we enjoyed a lay in and awoke to bright skies and sunshine, not forecast but a very welcome start. We were up and out for a gentle walk around Filey then the length of the beach and out onto the Brigg as the tide was out. We arrived back at the car at 2.30 as the rain started. That was fine as well as we were tired from previous days and we would go back to the cottage and go back out to the  cliffs for sunset. Well that plan failed as the rain never stopped !!

Tomorrow we will ignore the forecast.
