Mutant

Nope. Not a ninja turtle.

We have a thornless blackberry growing along the side of our garage and every now and then it escapes and tries to grow across the path, usually at whack you in the eye height.

This bit grew a bit higher up but as I ducked under it the other day I was sure it scratched me.
Surely not, I thought, it's a THORNLESS blackberry and has been for years.
This morning I actually looked at it and look what I saw.
THORNS!

It's going to get secateur-ed tomorrow.
