Bluebells

We visited Ashridge today for a walk.  We were not surprised to find it quite crowded on Easter Sunday morning (although I had forgotten about the Easter Cadbury egg hunt - so there were a lot of children there) but we didn't have to walk far to leave the people behind and enjoy peace and quiet in the forest.

The early bluebells are beginning to make a show, but I'm sure the volume and intensity will increase in coming weeks.
