Skip the troubled dog

The reason we are currently camping is this wee rescue dog. Took 6 months before we could get him in a car and now, after a year and a half, he trusts us but still no-one else so kennels or dog sitters not an option.
First day in the hired camper van and he's howling 'I'm not happy'. Typical!
