Deserted streets

After all the craziness of the last few days yesterday was very quiet.  We decided to go for a walk, I have never seen Chiang Mai so quiet.  A lot of shops and businesses remain closed and even the tourists seemed to be in short supply,  we walked to the moat.  This shot is of the area that is usually bustling with food carts and tourists. 

  As eating out was obviously still going to be difficult we decided to make spicy tomatoe soup  for dinner.  Followed by the realization that I did not have a suitable pan or a blender, we headed for the shops, and yes they were open but quiet.  The soup was good.  

As I went to post my shot in the late afternoon my tablet decided a massive update was required, so appolgies once again for being a day late.
