Snow Down Under

GOLDEN LEAVES:

The maples never fail to amaze me, they are so spectacular..........such glorious colours. This is Acer Senkaki, outside my kitchen window, draped in gold sovereigns, while on the bedroom side the trees are a sizzling red, Acer Osakazuki. In the middle they are a coppery brown, some cinnamon & a few orange. I have blipped them in the early light, just before 8am. In case you are wondering, that is Lake Wanaka in the middle, with my elephant coloured hills in the background.
