Overhead...

What excitement.!
Went into the garden to tell T that I had made him a cup of tea, when he shouted what's that flying around up there.  Looked up and there was a Heron circling overhead.  Sent T inside to get my camera while I kept watch.  The Heron then landed on a roof a few houses down.  He stood there for ages so I was able to take some shots.  Not the best photograph ever, the angle was awkward and some branches got in the way, but couldn't not blip this.  He was in silhouette and above the houses, Mono Monday with the theme of Above, job done with just a bit of cropping.
Did I mention that it was so exciting ?
