Weather much better than forecast so we enjoyed a walk down the pier this morning, and then a trip to Souter Lighthouse this afternoon. It was such a clear northerly airstream that we could see to the Simonside Hills in one direction, and the North Yorkshire coastline in the other from the top of the lighthouse - a span of 90 miles or so!
