Elusive

I have seen this heron nearly every day on our walk but today it was on a different part of the river. This was as close as I could get and of course I didn't have my camera only my iPhone so the quality is rubbish. I live these birds. They are so elegant with their long necks. I also love the colour of them. I think I will take my camera and just sit by the river like a real twitcher and get s better photograph. Last walk with Lexidog today as back to work tomorrow. It's been a great two weeks and now feel ready to see the next 11 weeks through!!
