Blown over
Easter backblip 1
After a morning of rather frantic cleaning and cooking, MrM drove us to Berwick station to pick up Lucy and Jake, who have come to spend Easter with us. Lovely to see them!
Back home for a 'picnic' lunch (Lucy and Jake didn't eat their packed lunch on the train as planned as they'd had to stand in the aisle for most of the journey), then a walk up though Humbleton village and over to Wooler Common. On the way we passed this old railway carriage. It used to be on this side of the wall but, in the gales of December 2015, it was blown over the wall and on to its side!
Slow-cooked venison stew and a glass or two of red, followed by a relaxing evening watching old comedy clips.
