Sometimes the little things

make the whole day worthwhile. Or, it was the best of times (I found a ruby crowned kinglet by sound!) , it was the worst of times ( I really have to stop reading the NY Times after dinner - the latest news from the White House always gives me heartburn).
But - it was the cutest little thing and most cooperative hunting the little worms they find on the ends of branches. The extra shows the little red spot that gives it it's name. 
And we can't forget Tarzan ,who came out for the 3rd day in a row to scavenge seeds form under the tube feeder. I discovered he can shimmy up the post to the feeder quite nicely, but today the grackles were occupying it again. And my hyacinths are actually out- more to be planted this fall since they actually came up1
