After the initial shock and the realisation there was nothing we could do from so far away, we continued on with our plans, with the words "appreciate every moment" in the back of our minds.
We explored the Jezzene barracks and Castle hill, before taking a picnic lunch of fish and chips to the Botanical gardens. It was a special day.
