Acer Leaf

This is my entry for TT - the theme for the challenge today was a leaf or part of a leaf,  and as the leaves on the two Acer trees at the front of the house are just opening up it made it easier than it often is when deciding what to blip.   This morning the light was lovely, in fact the light has been good all day and Jack has been able to spend time in the garden - something he really enjoys. I went out briefly today but the traffic was heavy so I was very happy not to have had to go very far, and more happy still when I got back home.

It would have been my sister's birthday today, and although I think of her most days, today is particularly poignant;  it's hard to believe it's almost 8 years since she died - it only feels like it was yesterday.
