eringium

Just a few of these little eringium flowers left from a huge arrangement of flowers Holly did for me weeks ago. The leaves are all prickly and dry now but they still have that gentle bluish tinge and look pretty in a tiny vase. Kathy and Jim went back to Edinburgh this morning and as usual the house seems very quiet. Bit of time in the garden today - the apple and cherry trees are full of blossom and the tomato plants in the greenhouse are almost ready for replanting again.
