Look what I got !

A copy of the day by day (366) wonders of nature to be seen across the country.  Stephen Moss and Brett Westwood have compiled a beautiful book.  I've read all the introduction, a very readable shot history of the growth of  human interest in all the nature around us; acknowledgements and the Recommeded Reading and then today's entry  - The Pygmy Shrew. 

If only I'd been born a day earlier it would have been Mountain Hare - I do love a Hare but only saw a Brown Hare today.

As well as the Brown Hare we saw a Swallow, Curlew and lots of lambs (extra photo).
