Easter (Tre)Monday(ous)

It's been a hugely recuperative long Easter weekend: body clock on eastern time means I wake early feeling wholesome. I've been zapping fruit and vegetables in a snazzy juicer kindly donated by bananablip. I've spring cleaned, realising white furniture and a bright apartment are enemies of dust. I've baked fish and made a long awaited return to the gym. All disgustingly wholesome.

Today I was with friends pootling along the river by bike, drinking tea and eating chocolate cake in a churchyard, lounging at a pub with chunky chips and pontificating about life and society. Weather bizarrely changeable: chilling winds one minute, squinty warm sun the next. I return to work feeling I am just about in control of life; an unusual sensation.
