Over the borderline

Had a BH trip through the fells (otherwise known as Shaamie's haunt) of Northumberland, Cumbria & Durham. This is looking back into Weardale. I love the tones of the moors which are echoed in the stone of the bridges (many of which seemed under repair) and villages and I love the mixed industrial heritage and grand houses. Here the sun highlighted the landscape and drew out the colours.
