A Rochdale Sheep

This afternoon Mr MD and I paid a visit to Rochdale Art Gallery, something we've been planning to do for some time, and finally got around to it.   On the staircase leading up to the first floor sits this sheep.   I can't find out any information about it other than it depicts colourful pictures of the local area.    I like its face - and the idea.
