Pincers

The clear out continues and the council were supposed to pick some stuff up, but they didn't.  Having paid upfront for this last week I was pretty annoyed, so I had to phone the council department and complain.  There was some kind of problem, which was not specified, but they are apparently coming tomorrow to collect the stuff.
So now we are having another general election on 8th June, and I will vote I always do, but I am beginning to feel a bit weary of all the arguments.  It sometimes feels like the electorate in this country are caught between pincers, between truth and lies, and it's difficult working out which pincer is which.
