Eerie Erskine

Today was my first cash perk job ever as a direct result of my blipping!! No, I was not photographing anyones wedding or anything at all. A while back I had done a wallpapering job for a neighbour and I blipped the result. A while later I got a call from a mate who had seen the link on FB and had a friend who wanted a feature wall done and would I like to do it? Talk about nerve wracking - paper imported from overseas and me not a pro at all, just a slow DIYer, terrified of making a dogs breakfast of it. I have to say, I was very happy with the end result and enough cash in the pocket to treat myself to a lovely single malt (see yesterday's entry).

The house was over in Island Bay and I've wanted to photograph the derelict Erskine College for some time so took the opportunity, despite signs all over saying "Do Not Approach, Earthquake Prone Building". I did get in and out pretty quickly mind you, and was not tempted to find a way inside, but imagine it would be full of opportunities.
